Herbert James Muether, known to all who loved him as Herb, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2026, after a courageous journey with Alzheimer’s disease. He was 71 years old.
Herb was born on June 9, 1954, and raised in Stony Brook, New York, a place that always remained close to his heart. He later moved to Selden, NY, where he built a life and a home with his beloved wife, Elizabeth Muether (Reuter), in …
