Henry and I were roommates during the time he was at Westover AFB, I have been looking for him for years. I can remember one of the saddest moments in my life when his wife Carolyn died and cried for his two little daughters. Henry was an extraordinary mechanic. Because of his talents went to Houston Aerospace Center working on space suits for the astronauts. This is a sad day for anyone who ever came in contact with him. Rest in peace Henry!
I knew Henry when he was stationed at Westover Air Force Base and he worked part time at Menard and Holmberg. He and a few friends would come to my family’s and on Sunday we would play cards. He would also eat with us. My two sisters went went his two friends. Sorry to hear of his loss. People who knew him all enjoyed having him around.
I just learned of Henry’s passing. While he lived in Texas and in Florida, I cherished the time and experiences we shared. We went to Mexico together and helped build a church and the alter. He got us a better place to watch the space shuttle launch. I will miss him.
