It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. Henry Sanchez, Jr. A beloved father, brother, and grandfather, Henry left us on November 16, 2023, closing a rich and meaningful chapter of life that began on January 19, 1946.

A man of warm, witty, and generous character, Henry was someone who deeply valued relationships. He was a person who could uplift spirits in a room, and believed in sharing compassion with everyone. His favorite pastime was watching San Francisco 49ers games, and he cherished going to the movies with friends.

Achievement also played a significant role in Henry's life. He proudly held a place in the McClatchy High School Hall of Fame for his feats in track and field. But perhaps his greatest accomplishment in life was creating a legacy of kindness which will continue to echo in the hearts of those who knew him.

Henry was predeceased by his loving parents, Nettie and Henry Sanchez, Sr., his cherished wife, Barbara Crumbrine-Sanchez, his brother, Bob Estrada, his brother, Danny Estrada, and his sister, Irene Aiello.

He leaves behind his dear children, Fallon Brooks, Jimmy Brooks, and Ciji Sanchez each of whom he loved dearly. He will be fondly remembered by his grandson, Elian Ellis. He also leaves behind his caring siblings, Mary Shiroma and Queak Sanchez.

Henry's bright spirit and generous nature will be greatly missed by his family and friends, but the lessons he shared and the love he gave will forever remain in our hearts.
