It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Henry Michael Maddox, loving father, grandfather, son, brother and friend, who left us on June 22, 2025. Born on November 15, 1959, Michael lived a life filled with adventure, love, and cherished moments.
Henry was a dedicated father to his daughter, Amanda Maddox Hodge, and a proud grandfather to his three grandchildren: Gloria Macy Hodge, Jaden Memphis Hodge, and Alexis Marlo Hodge. He found immense joy in spending time with his family, especially traveling with Amanda and his grandchildren, boating, hunting, fishing and creating memories that will be treasured forever.
Michael was known for his passion for the outdoors, particularly his love of hunting. This hobby was not just a pastime for him; it was an integral part of his life that allowed him to connect with nature and share experiences with those he loved.
In his later years, Henry cherished the time spent with his mother, Gloria Cleo Hester, and his stepfather, Guy Hester Of Cumming GA. Michael also enjoyed travel with his daughter and grandchildren visiting the mountains the beaches and taking cruises through the caribbean. Michael dedicated his last days to working on his parents property, where he enjoyed yard work and building projects, embodying his hands-on spirit and love for craftsmanship.
Michaels warmth, sense of humor, and zest for life made a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. He was an individual whom had a character all of his own. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends, but his legacy of love for his friends and family, as well as zest for adventure will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
