Henry's obituary
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Mr. Henry Koroma Jr., born on May 8, 1989, who left us too soon on May 24, 2024. He was a cherished and beloved man whose departure leaves a void in the lives of those he touched.
Henry is survived by his loving daughter, Aiyanah myata Barnes Koroma, his father, Henry David Koroma Sr., and his sisters, Silina Destine and Esther Tucker. He was predeceased by his dear mother, Eugenia Kaitel.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so during a viewing to be held on June 1 2024, at 12:30 AM at 1003 Main St. Henry was a member at the Stroudsburg Seventh Day Adventist Church and found great comfort in his faith.
Henry was a man of various passions and interests. He loved savoring Cassava Leaves, and his favorite drinks included Mango Juice, Water & Hennessy. A lover of literature, he found solace and wisdom in reading The Bible. Among his favorite genres of music were hip hop, trap, and gospel. An avid sports fan, he not only cheered for the Celtics but also enjoyed playing Spades and going to the gym.
His charming personality was a blend of humor, intelligence, handsomeness, love, and respect. He often shared his life's lessons, the most vital being "Love others and maintain peace." Henry was proud of his many accomplishments, including his straight A's in High School, promotion at work, and his resilience in building a successful life after overcoming personal obstacles. His greatest achievement was the legacy of kindness, love, and leaps he leaves behind.
Henry Koroma Jr. will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, love, and leaps that will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have been a part of his life.
