It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Helena Becerra, who left us peacefully on July 16, 2024. Born on March 19, 1946, Helena lived a life full of warmth and humor, leaving an indelible mark on everyone who knew her.

In her 78 years, Helena was a pillar of strength, joy, and love. Her endless wit and fantastic listening skills were not only her distinct personality traits but also the source of comfort and solace for many. She was a beacon of love and light, instilling in all who knew her the importance of living fully, loving deeply, and laughing heartily.

Helena's ultimate pride and joy were her children and grandchildren.  The bond she shared with both Nelson and Lisa was not restricted to the realm of motherhood alone. The three of them were best of friends, confidants, and partners in countless memorable adventures. Helena's love for her son and daughter was a testament to her enormous love and her capacity to nurture.

This remarkable woman had a knack for making life more lively and delightful. Among those friends  and family that REALLY KNEW HER, she was secretly known as 'Gloria Rodriguez,' an endearing alter ego that often brought smiles and laughter to any gathering. She may be gone, but her spirit will continue to bring joy to those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Revered as a fun 'Nana,' a loving mom, and an exemplary friend, Helena leaves behind a legacy of kindness and laughter. Her infectious cheerfulness, combined with her genuine kindness, will always resonate within the hearts of those who loved her. We celebrate Helena's rich life, even as we mourn her loss, drawing strength from the lessons she taught us and the love she shared.

In this sad moment, we take solace in the fact that Helena's life was a living testament to the beautiful story of love, joy, and unwavering kindness. Even in her absence, her name and legacy will continue to inspire and guide us.
