Helen's obituary
Grandma Helen gained her angel wings on September 09, 2022 at her home in Georgia. Helen was 66 years old, born on January 12, 1956. Grandma Helen spent 66 wonderful years spreading joy to any and all around her. A comfort to many and a joy to all, most of her time was spent taking care of her family, her friends, and her community.
She was born in South Carolina and named Gloria Posten ,When she was just a young child she was adopted to the Trotti family with three of her siblings and was renamed Helen Phillips Trotti, Grandma Helen’s life would seem too short to many, but those of us who were Blessed to be touched by her understand that her existence and the imprint She left on our hearts exceed the quantity of time that She stayed here. Helen was talented and adventurous in many aspects of her life. She was a master of music playing the Piano and the Cello, an avid Swimmer back in her day and an amazing sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and a genuine friend.
Helen was retired by age 63, she could be found in Dahlonega Ga, in the comfort of her home. Not a day went by where Helen didn't talk about how much her children and family meant to her -- her family was arguably her most important achievement in life. Helen is survived by very few of her loving siblings, Jane McGee, George Trotti, Rachel Webb, Tommy Poston, Bobbi-Jean Reins, and Nicky Infinger, along with her three beautiful children, Elizabeth Davenport, Jonathan Barron, and Price Barron and countless grandchildren as well as great grandchildren and nieces/nephews. Services are still being organized, but will be a small memorial and candle lighting. Any flowers, memories, pictures, or contributions are much appreciated please consider making a contribution to creating a in person memorial for family and friends.
I tried to represent my grandmother in the best way I could . I hope everyone can share their memories that they have with her to shine the light on how much of a great woman my grandma has always been. My grandma really appreciated all of the people that cared for her throughout her journey in life. She had a great fight and loved you all deeply. Thank you for making her feel loved.
