Helen C. Surovek, aged 81, passed peacefully on June 1, 2024. Helen was a long time resident of Fort Lauderdale, a successful realtor, very active in her community - especially with women's and animal rights organizations, and she was famous for her holiday cards full of confetti and sealed with her signature red kiss. She is survived by her brother, John H. Surovek; her nieces, Andrea and Jennifer; her nephews, Clay and Cory; and many grand-nieces and grand-nephews who she adored endlessly.  A celebration of life will be held in Fort Lauderdale in the early fall and she will return home to Hammond, Indiana to rest with her late mother, father, and brother.
