Helen A. Sanford (Crowley), 91, passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, March 24, 2019. She was the wife of the late George R. Sanford.
Born in Alston, Massachusetts; Helen was the daughter of the late John J. Crowley and the late Helen A. Crowley (Threlfall). She was the sister of the late Carol Pimental (Crowley). Helen resided in Somerville, Massachusetts before moving to Cumberland, Rhode Island.
Helen was an avid shopper and especially enjoyed trips to the mall. She enjoyed watching musicals and reading historical non fiction, particularly anything involving the American Civil War. She loved to have a nice cup of tea, especially in the company of her loved ones.
Helen leaves behind her two sons; George R. Sanford and Mark W. Sanford, both of Cumberland, Rhode Island. She also leaves her seven grandchildren as well as seven great grandchildren.
