Helen's obituary
Helen "Elaine" Oakley, 74, of Halifax, NS passed away quietly in Calgary on May 09, 2022.
Helen was predeceased by her youngest son, Jimmie, her parents Helen and Leo Oakley and her sister Lorraine Vuletin.
She is survived by her daughter Kathy Oakley and her son Michael Oakley, both reside in Calgary, AB.
Elaine was one of seven siblings and will be missed by her sisters Susan (Terry) Meade in NFLD, Kathy (Glane) Gorvette, Prospect, Sharon Saulnier, Linda (Creighton) Sanford, her brother Lee (Charlotte) Oakley; all reside in Nova Scotia.
Elaine was an adventurer and loved road trips. She had a lot a of fun, and made memories, on the many trips to Las Vegas with Lorraine, Brenda and Megan. She was over the moon when she visited Cuba, with her neice Helen and her daughters Audrey and Victoria.
Elaine was delighted when she visited Croatia with her sister Lorraine and her family. She talked about her trip to Croatia more than Vegas; which is saying something.
