Helen Marie Spuck, 90 years old of Cary, Illinois passed away on 1/6/23 peacefully at home with her family by her side.  She was born on July 6th, 1932 to her parents Oscar and Mary Johnson in Chicago, Illinois.

On September 29th 1951 she married Robert Arthur Spuck and they had a wonderful marriage of 64 years.  

Helen is survived by her two children. Dan (Liz) Spuck and Kris (Bob) Pepping;  her grandchildren Brittany, Tiffany, Cody, Kyle and Kacey; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents Helen is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 64 years Robert Spuck (2015), Carol Spuck (2020) her daughter and Trisha Wells (2022) her granddaughter.

Our mom loved life and everything life had to offer to offer.  She had such a kind and gentle soul and because of her kind soul people were drawn to my mom.  It wasn't unusual for her to start up conversations with strangers in the airport (almost didn't make her flight because of this), stores or anywhere she was.    Her and my dad loved camping and traveling all over the United States and every chance they had they hit the road. 

  She liked to keep herself busy and was very active with the Cary Senior Center.  She was involved in the Senior Centers "Cards For Soldiers" where she made cards for the Soldiers to fill out and send them back home to their loved ones.  With being so active at the center she developed many long lasting friendships.
