Helen "Uma" Friedman, 87, of Rolling Hills Estates, CA, passed away on December 21, 2022. Helen was born on October 3, 1935 to Manfred and Alyce Simon in Chicago, Illinois. After graduating from Gardena High School, she went on to study History and Education at UCLA.
After graduation, she landed her first job as an elementary school teacher for the Los Angeles Unified School District and eventually went on to become a successful school Principal.
