Helen's obituary
We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Helen Burton, who left us on January 10, 2026. Born in 1952, Helen has been a beacon of strength and perseverance throughout her life, and will be dearly missed.
Helen was predeceased by her loving husband, Robert Burton. She is survived by her cherished son, Sean Burton, who will carry her memory in his heart.
Helen dedicated her life to service and retired from the Air Force in 1980. Her dedication and strength were truly admirable, and serve as a testament to her character.
A woman of simple pleasures, Helen enjoyed comfort food like pizza and fried chicken, finding solace in a warm cup of green tea. She was a great fan of The Beatles, The Who, and Irish Woman, and entertained herself with TV shows such as Doctor Who, Star Trek, and NCIS. Her recreational activities included playing Mahjong and digital painting, which provided her with great joy and relaxation. Navy blue was her favorite color, a reflection of her deep and intense personality.
Helen was best described as sad but strong, a poignant representation of her enduring spirit. She believed in the power of perseverance and often shared the lesson of tenacity with those around her.
