Background
Heidi fought and overcame a difficult battle with breast cancer in her twenties. The Susan G. Komen foundation is a wonderful organization that helped our family learn more about breast cancer and the best ways to manage the difficulties and pain that comes along with it. Cancer is a horrible illness, and the Susan G. Komen foundation is doing great work in searching for a cure and supporting families.
