Heidi's obituary
The world brightened when the soul of Heidi Marie Gorman came along on June 28, 1969 and dimmed when she left us on April 27, 2024. The lives she has touched, and legacy left go beyond words. She leaves behind two beautiful children with hearts of gold, Derek James and Krista Marie with their father Brian Hetzel. She is further survived by many family members and friends, including mother Nancy Gorman, siblings Bridget Gorman-Cochenet, Wendy Villers (Terry), Ronald Gorman, Jr., niece and nephews JoAnna Cochenet-Gallastegui (Juan), Spencer Pfeil (daughter Greenley), Theodore Wimmer, Xander Grant, and Aaron Gorman.
Heidi always had an adventurous spontaneity for life and fun. She was a loving mother, a dreamer, and empath and a lover of others, with a warm heart and caring for and always thinking about others when she saw something that reminded her of them. Heidi always welcomed family and friends into her arms with open doors. She had a love for exploring cooking, home-gardening, and an interest in homeopathic ideas. Her legacy is through the lives she’s touched, most especially, her two wonderful children.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Gorman, Sr., and nephew Anthony Cochenet.
A Celebration of Life for Heidi will be in the works and will be shared with close family and friends if and when possible.
