Heather Lovelace, age 34, of Shelby, passed away Monday, November 22, 2021 at Atrium Health-Cleveland in Shelby.

Heather was born Wednesday, January 7, 1987 in Rutherford County. She was a graduate of Chase High School, class of 2005 and was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Ellenboro. She worked for American Miso of many years. Heather’s passion was spending time with her children. She loved them dearly.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Ava Brewer; grandparents, Gladys and Wayne Liverett, Jennings Matthew and Lorraine Lovelace.

Those left to cherish her memory include her parents, Susan and John Short of Shelby; her four sons, Bryson, Henry, Elijah and Jayse Brewer; brother, Matthew Lovelace (Becca) of Tulsa, OK; sister, Leighann Guffey; uncle, Bobby Guffey of Caroleen; half-brothers, John D. Short, Jr. of Sumter, SC and Johnathan Short of Shelby; half-sisters, Bambi Short of Gastonia and Brittany Mack (Andre) of Texas.

A graveside service will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at the Victory Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Johnny McCarty officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the graveside. Family and friends may pay their respects and sign the register book from 5:00 until 7:00 pm on Friday at the funeral home.
