Heather's obituary

Heather Michelle Frazier, 48, of Carrollton, TX, passed away at home surrounded by her family on Friday January 20, 2023 after her diagnosis with breast cancer in 2019.

On June 28, 1974, Heather was born to Steve and Rebecca Bullard in Dallas, TX and immediately brought joy and laughter into their world. In her childhood she was a student of renowned dance teacher Natalie Skelton and captain of the Mesquite drill team - both points of pride for Heather. Dance continued to bring her joy for years after. After graduating from Mesquite High School in 1992, she went on to study pre-med at Texas A&M. After graduation, she worked several years in finance at Southwest Securities and Pinson Financial, worked in the family business "Troy's Drum Shop", then dedicated her life to being a homemaker and stay at home mother. Heather and Troy blended their families when they wed in 2001, and went on to have a family with 4 beautiful children: Justine, Brandon, Natalie & Ian. Family came first and was above all else to Heather. The hole left by her absence is impossible to fill. Being a mother was one of the most important parts of Heather’s life, a role that gave her much pride and joy. Heather enjoyed watching a myriad of crime, cooking, and travel shows with Troy and having long late conversations with Brandon. She liked reading mystery novels and tear jerkers that she and Justine shared with each other, talking politics with Ian, and dancing like nobody's watching with Natalie. She brought holidays to life by decorating the house for Christmas and Easter and making homemade costumes for Halloween. Heather was spirited, opinionated, fiery, and strong-willed. Our family was blessed to have her.

Heather is survived by husband Troy; children Justine (husband Chris), Brandon Keierleber, Natalie, and Ian; parents Steve and Rebecca Bullard; brother Steve (wife Christa) Bullard; 2 grandkids and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and in-laws who will all miss her greatly. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Heather’s name to the American Cancer Society at https://donate3.cancer.org/ . There will be a Memorial on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 1:00 PM at North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Dallas, TX 75234.
