Heather's obituary
Heather was born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania on September 19, 1986. She grew up in Uniontown before moving to North Port, Florida in 1996. She was the daughter of Ronald Ashton, Jr. & Mary Anne Ashton of North Port, FL. In addition to her parents, Heather leaves her sons, Braylon Ashton Martin & Brody Ashton Martin of North Port, FL. Grandmother, Susan Ashton of North Port, FL. Godmother and aunt, Rhonda Ashton Loeb & husband, Peter of Fair Lawn, NJ. Godfather and uncle, Joseph Haragos & wife, Iva of Uniontown, PA. Heather also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Ronald Ashton, Sr., Joseph & Ann Haragos and aunt, Kathy Over.
Heather graduated from Venice High School in 2004. In her youth, Heather was a dancer, gymnast and cheerleader. In 2015, she graduated with honors from Southern Technical College with a Certified Medical Assistant Degree. Heather worked as a Medical Assistant to provide for her two young boys, Braylon, 6, and Brody, 4. She was committed to helping her patients through their own struggles. She was an organ donor and saved the lives of others through this terrible tragedy. She loved her boys with all of her heart and especially enjoyed spending time at the beach with them.
Heather would want you to spend time with your children, take a walk on the beach with your loved ones and make a toast to enduring friendships lifelong and beyond. Please keep Braylon and Brody, and her entire family, in your thoughts and prayers during this tragic time.
Heather will be cremated in Florida and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at the Freedom Bible Church, 500 Sable Street, Port Charlotte, FL at 3:00 PM. A service will also be held at Dolfi’s Funeral Home in Uniontown, PA on February 17, 2018 from 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM.
