Hazel Wilson, 86, of Stockton, CA, passed away on July 01, 2023 after a  battle with cancer. 

Hazel was born on June 6, 1937  to Lawrence and Roseanne Delplanche of  Forest Grove, Oregon.  After graduating from  Hillsboro Union high School in 1955 She went on to study child nutrition at Delta College. After graduation, she landed her first job as a teachers assistant in stockton unified. On July 4th 1970 she met the love of her life  Joe Wilson.  They married 8 years later on March 11th.  They had a beautiful blended family.  Alvin, Norman, Donald, Robert, Tina, Curtis, John, Justin and Joey.  Hazel was an extremely caring and loving friend and family member to everyone.  Hazel was  passionate about knitting and  Crocheting . When she wasn’t filling her home with warmth and kindness, she could be found teaching kids after school.  We will miss her greatly.

Hazel was predeceased by both parents, 1 child and 3 grandkids. She is survived by her husband, 8 kids, 4 siblings, many grandkids, great grandkids, great great grandkids, nieces and nephews. The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to 303 S. California Street.  There will be viewing on Thursday July 20th from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at The Chapel of Palms. The funeral Service will be held at The Chapel of the Palms on Friday July 21st at 10:00am. There will be a celebration of life pot luck following the funeral at Dentoni Park at 1430 Royal oaks drive  stockton ca 95209.
