After a difficult battle with cancer, Hazel Marie Lupuliak nee Battle passed away peacefully on July 1, 2021 surrounded by her loved ones.

Born in Calgary, AB to Winnifred & Murray Battle, Hazel was the last of seven children. Hazel was passionate about children from a very young age and participated in countless fostering, training, mentoring and parent coaching efforts over the years. She helped to raise many of her nieces and nephews, dozens of foster children and countless friend’s of her children.
In 1972, Hazel met Art and immediately fell in love. They went on to be married for 47 years and had 4 children together.

Hazel was a fiercely strong, loving, and kind mother, raising 4 equally [l strong, loving and kind children. Hazel was our biggest cheerleader and our constant supporter. Our family would not be where it is today if we didn’t have Hazel as a mother.

Hazel was predeceased by her mom Winnifred Elizabeth Battle, her father Murray Arthur Battle, and her eldest sister Gerry Dobravech . Celebration of life open house will be held at Glamorgan Community centre, July 18 1-4 PM.
