In lieu of flowers

Please consider a contribution to Hospice of Scotland County or Bite Me Cancer.

Background

Our Mom was a soldier, trailblazer and most importantly, a giver. She provided for hosts of family, friends and neighbors in need. She instilled pride and sacrifice and honor. Even in her death she thought about others known and unknown in her gift of body donation to science. It's only right to commend her efforts with a memorial garden on the home site she invested in and provided shelter for. We plan on demolishing the old now dilapidated dwelling and construct a beautiful space that encompasses her beauty, serenity and calm. Volunteers are welcome to assist us in taking out our frustrations busting windows, tearing down blocks and recycling materials. All proceeds will go towards beautification of the newly constructed bench, flowers, waterfall, birdbath, and memorial stone for the site.
