Haylie's obituary
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the untimely passing of Haylie Butler, a beacon of light and kindness in the lives of all who knew her. Born on September 30, 1986, Haylie departed from us far too early on January 12, 2025, leaving a void that will be hard to fill.
Haylie was a woman of many virtues. She was caring, loving, and kind, always putting others before herself. A keen sense of humor lit up her personality and made her the life of any social gathering. Her radiant spirit could light up any room, and her laughter was the sweetest melody in any symphony. She loved music dearly and found great joy in attending concerts. This love, her radiant positivity, and her ever-present kindness will be her lasting legacy.
Beyond her considerable personal qualities, Haylie was also a dedicated mother, wife, and professional. In 2006, Haylie met the love of her life, Brad Butler. Together in 2007, they embarked on the most rewarding journey of their life when they became parents to Braylie. Haylie was also a step-mom to Brad's son, Caden who she adored and loved as her own. Haylie and Brad continued to build a life full of joy and love and celebrated their marriage in 2015. Haylie also proved herself to be a hardworking, dedicated student, graduating from the DMACC Dental Assistant Program. She applied the same level of commitment and love to her career at Dentistry at Somerset for nearly 8 years; as she did to every other aspect of her life, and her patients will surely miss her gentle care and infectious smile.
A Celebration of Life for Haylie will be held on February 1, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the Cobblestone Inn & Suites - Boone. We invite all who loved her to come and share their memories, laughter, and stories of a woman who gave so much of herself to others.
In lieu of flowers, we are raising funds for "Memorial Donations for Haylie Butler". You can contribute at https://everloved.com/life-of…. We have decided that any memorial contributions made will go directly to an account set up for Braylie’s future and education. Haylie’s love for Braylie was her greatest gift, and we know that she will live on in the heart of her daughter.
Haylie's shared wisdom of unconditional love will continue to guide us, and while we grieve her loss, we can also celebrate the beautiful life she led and the love she so freely gave. We wish her peace in her journey beyond and thank her for enriching our lives with her presence. Her light continues to shine in our hearts, until we meet again.
