James's obituary

James "Lee" Warren, 91, of Alliance, went home to be with the Lord on Friday September 26 at 8:24 pm at his home in Alliance.

Born on January 2, 1933 in Lindale, Georgia to Roy and Ruby (Hovers)
Warren, he lived in Alliance for all of his retired life.
A veteran of the Vietnam Era, he served our country in the U.S. Air Force for 22 years, 3 months and 26 days and retired as Master Sergeant. He received the Air Force Good Conduct Medal and Air Force Longevity Service
Award with four Oak Leaf Clusters.
After his military retirement, he worked in the Engineering Dept at Alliance Community Hosp for over 20 years until his second retirement.
He loved to work on computers, begin projects and was a member of the
Masonic Conrad Lodge #271.
Survivors include his two daughters, Patricia (Don) Baker and JoAnn
(Ronn) Voshel, all of Alliance; two sons, Buddy (Annie Graber) Warren of Alliance and Tony (Julie Gobbo) Warren of Delray Beach, FL; 19 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death was his wife, Evelyn (Fowler) Warren, whom he married on October 22, 1950 and who passed away on December 12, 1996; his parents; two sisters, Louise Forsythe and Patty Vick; two brothers, Jim and Charles Warren.

The family will receive friends on Saturday September 27 , 2025, from 10:00 am- 11:00 am at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home. His FuneralService will begin at 11:00 am with Rev. John Bower of Harmonycares Hospice officiating. Burial, with military honors, will immediately follow at Highland Memorial Park.
