My condolences to Harvey's family. I first met Harvey when I was 10 years old and he was 8 years old. Thru those 75 years we both have experienced some challenging times. I am happy to tell you none of which ever disrupted our friendship.
I became involved in setting up a charitable golf outing. When I mentioned this to Harvey he volunteered to help and became responsible for getting sports equipment, clothing to be auctioned off. His effort resulted in the auction showing a profit of in excess of $40,000.00 for the charity
Recent years were very hard for him. We would meet 2 or 3 time a year and frequent phone calls catch up. During our time together he never complained about his circumstance he often would tell me “its Ok I have no complaints everything considered I have had a good life”.
I am glad Harvey was a friend of mine.

Very sorry to hear of the passing of Harvey your dad. I have such fond memories of him since I’m a young girl. He always had a smile on his face and kind words.

Last time I saw Harvey I was in my early 20s and in New York City, where I was working at my first job out of college. I was standing right near the Empire State Building and someone came up behind me, put their hands over my eyes, and told me not to move. I grabbed the wrists, wriggled out, turned around, and there was Harvey, with a big smile on his face. Talk about a small world! We hadn't seen each other in a while and I was really jazzed that he recognized me amongst all the people on the street. We had a very nice conversation, catching up with each other. I remember that encounter vividly and with a lot of affection.
