Harry W. Sollars JR. of Vero Beach, Florida, passed away on Feb. 7, 2019. He was born in St. Joseph, Missouri. He resided in Coventry, R.I. He graduated from the University of R.I. in 1972. He served in the US Navy Seabees from 1962 to 1965. He was employed by various construction concerns and retired in 2005 from the IUOE 57 Operating Engineers in Providence, R.I.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Joyce Booth in 1980, wife Patricia Davis in 2005, stepmother Virginia Thornton in 2017, a half brother Kyle in 2014, and his loving companion Pat Costello in Feb. 2018.
Survivors include a son Kirk, son Matthew(Tara), daughter Melissa, brother Lon, half sisters Debra and Marsha, grandsons Corey and Logan, granddaughters Abigail, Arianna, and Sierra.
Private grave site services will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at the South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, Florida.
