Harry's obituary

In Loving Memory of Harry Kassiotis

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a wonderful soul, Harry Kassiotis.

Born and raised in the Bronx, he touched the lives of many with his kindness and warmth.

Harry was a loving father to two daughters, Georgia and Angelina. His son-in-law, Michael, was not only family but someone he adored deeply. Harry cherished the bond with his beautiful granddaughter, whom he had the joy of meeting, and had a grandson whom he never had the chance to meet.

His legacy is one of love, family, and the enduring impact he made on those fortunate enough to know him. Harry will be dearly missed and forever remembered in our hearts.

Harry was a man of diverse passions. Whether cruising on motorcycles, immersing himself in the gripping world of "The Walking Dead," or relishing the timeless classics, he found joy in the simple pleasures that brought him closer to the things he loved. His enthusiasm and spirit will continue to inspire those who shared in these moments with him.

Harry had a deep appreciation for the beauty and nostalgia of cars. His love for reminiscing about his own vehicles and the thrill of car auctions reflected his passion for the artistry of automobiles. May the echoes of those conversations and the memories of shared car-related moments bring a smile to the faces of those who knew and loved him.

Harry cherished the nostalgia of his previous home in New Jersey, finding joy in the familiarity of those visits. Long scenic car rides were not just journeys for him; they were experiences to savor, taking in the beauty of the landscapes along the way and saving him a few dollars from not king taking the Garden State. His love for Chinese food added a flavorful touch to these adventures, creating fond memories for all who joined him on those delightful excursions.

The bond between Harry and his daughter, Georgia, was truly special. Sharing not only the celebration of Georgia's birthday on February 10th but also marking his own namesake day on that date, their connection was woven into the fabric of these shared moments. The intertwining of birthdays and namesake celebrations made February 10th a day of double joy and a testament to the unique closeness they enjoyed.

Family held a special place in Harry's heart, and his closeness with his brother Nick and sister Agnes was a testament to the strength of those familial bonds. Their shared connection went beyond blood, creating a foundation of love and support. The importance of being Greek in his life reflects not only a cultural connection but also the joy and camaraderie that came with it.

Harry's joy in becoming a grandfather was undoubtedly a crowning moment in his life. The patience and anticipation he carried while waiting for his granddaughter added immeasurable joy to his later years. Though he may not be physically present, the love he held for his grandchildren will undoubtedly endure, leaving a lasting legacy of warmth and affection.

Harry's ability to maintain close connections extended beyond family, reaching into his relationships with his ex-wife Debbie, friend Joann, and lifelong friend Dave. The bonds he nurtured over the years spoke volumes about his capacity for enduring connections and meaningful friendships. The moments spent catching up with loved ones undoubtedly brought him joy, and these shared memories will serve as a testament to the richness of his social connections.

The passing of time doesn't always ease the ache of loss. Three years may have gone by, but the memory of Harry remains vivid, as if it were just yesterday. Grief has its own pace, and it's okay to feel the weight of his absence. Take the time you need to remember, reflect, and find solace in the enduring impact he had on your life.

May he rest in peace.
