Harry's obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Harry Willard Carlton, beloved father, brother, husband, and friend. Harry left us on March 28th at 4:52 at the age of 79. He will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Harry was a dedicated and hardworking man, who wore many hats throughout his life. He served proudly in the Army Reserves, where he demonstrated unwavering commitment and dedication. After his service, Harry continued his life of service by becoming a police officer, where he worked diligently to protect and serve his community.
Harry was also known for his work in the shipyards, where he spent many years contributing to the livelihood of his family and providing for those he loved. His dedication to his work and family never wavered.
As a father, Harry was a devoted parent and made every effort to make lasting memories with his kids Terri and Kevin. He cherished any time he had with them whether it was at a Gator game or a softball game. As a husband, he was steadfast and caring, always putting his family's needs above his own. As a grandfather, he made every effort to attend every school performance and sporting events dressed in supportive attire so everyone knew who he was there supporting.
As a friend, Harry's loyalty and love knew no bounds.
Harry is survived by his loving wife, Linda , his children, Terri and Kevin, his grandchildren, Sam, Reese, Emma, Skylar, Kendall, Kate and Christian, his friends and his dog, Millie who will carry on his memory. His legacy of service, love, and loyalty will live on in all who knew him.
