This woman was known as the "Moses of Her People."
She served as a nurse, scout, and spy for the Union Army.
Harriet Tubman found freedom for herself and around three hundred other slaves. She was considered the "conductor" of the Underground Railroad.
Harriet Tubman died at the age of ninety one.
