Harriet Lilian (Simon) Friedman died on August 30, 2019. Harriet was born on July 2. 1929 to Morris Joseph Simon and Rose (Kasper) Simon in Brooklyn, New York. She graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School. She Manny was a writer and her articles included jazz reviews for DownBeat magazine.
