Harold's obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Harold Chapman. Born on May 28, 1933, Harold lived a long and fulfilling life before leaving us on May 9, 2025.

Harold was known for his kindness, compassion, and his unwavering commitment to his family. His pleasant nature and charming persona made him loved and respected by all who knew him. He imparted not only knowledge and wisdom, but also his love for life upon his children. Harold's memory will always be cherished by those who survive him.

Harold is remembered by his loving wife, Lucy Irene Chapman, a steadfast pillar of support through 68 years of their love. Their bond, woven through decades of shared experiences, was a testament to enduring love and unwavering commitment.

Harold was a proud father to his four children, Paul, Phil, Jon and Cheerilyn Chapman. Each of them carry a piece of their father's indomitable spirit, reflecting his values of integrity, compassion, and resilience.

Harold is also survived by his siblings, William fondly known as Bill Chapman, and Elizabeth (Chapman) Wilgus. He was predeceased by his brothers: Joseph and Robert Chapman, and his sister, Ellen (Chapman) Dixon. Their memories, filled with love, laughter, and shared moments, will continue to reside in the hearts of those left behind.

As confident as we are that those that predeceased him are reunited in peace, their absence is a painful ache with all of us. As we come to terms with Harold's departure, we are comforted knowing he lived a life full of love, purpose and joy. His legacy lives within the hearts and minds of those who were blessed to know him, and his spirit will continue to illuminate the path for us all.

Galatians 6:9 - "And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. Being confident of this very thing that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. I have fought a good fight."

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to their final home in support of Alzheimer at https://form.jotform.com/B2CE… in Harold's memory. We thank everyone for their support and prayers during these challenging times.
