Harold E. Ferguson, age 87, of Elkton, MD passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Harold was born on February 21, 1926 to the late Joseph S. & Bertha J. (Sweede) Ferguson.

Harold was a member of the Head of Christiana Presbyterian Church for 52 years. Harold served on the Board of Directors of the Head of Christiana Cemetery for 13 years and also as their President for 10 years. Harold was a veteran of the Army having served in Korea during the Korean War. He retired from Delmarva Power and Light after 28 years of service.

He is survived by his daughter, Sharon L. Dudkewitz and her husband John (Jay) of Landenberg, PA; son Walter Dale Ferguson Sr. of Elkton; grandchildren, Mandy Jones and husband Craig, W.D. Ferguson and wife Carrie; great granddaughter Audrey Ferguson; step great grandchildren Austin and Alivia Blevins, as well as former daughter in-law Ginny Ferguson all of Elkton, MD.

He was predeceased by his wife of 62 years, Betty L. Ferguson who passed away in 2012.

A visitation will be held 6-8 pm on Sunday, March 3, 2013 at R. T. Foard and Jones Funeral Home, 122 West Main Street, Newark, DE 19711. A service will be held 2:00pm on Monday, March 4, 2013 at Head of Christiana Presbyterian Church, 1100 Church Road, Newark, DE 10911 where family and friends may visit one hour prior.

Burial will follow at Head of Christiana Cemetery.
