In December 2024, the Bigman Family donated several pieces of Hal's artwork to Art Center College of Design. In May 2025, Art Center finished cataloging and scanning Hal's work and published the collection guide online at https://archives.artcenter.ed…. The collection consists of four small paintings from costumed models created by Hal while he was a student at Art Center in the late 1950s. The four paintings are gouache on illustration board with bright yellow mat frames.
According to Robert Dirig, Director of Art Center's Archives and Special Collections, "It is really fantastic to have actual examples of his student work from the late 1950s. We are so happy to include it in our archives. Many thanks to the Bigman Family for the donation and for keeping the paintings in such great condition."

For whatever reason this morning. I thought of Hal and Marilyn, and not having heard from Hal for a while, I decided to "Google" him for any updates. Hal was always a caring and dedicated friend even though we haven't seen each other for years, but Marilyn and Hal were often in my thoughts, and for reasons unknown, I decided to "Google" him this morning. My condolences to you, Marilyn, and to your family on your loss. Hal will always be on my mind and an example of what "goodness" should be.

Hal was a kind and caring soul. I so enjoyed our time together. This is a wonderful tribute to him. May his memory be a blessing.
