Born on August 13, 1996 in State College, Harley Harpster passed away on Monday, April 10, 2023 at the young age of 26.

Anyone who knew Harley, knew him by his contagious laugh, his great sense of humor and his memorable smirk. Always the most upbeat person in the room, Harley was known to go out of his way to make those around him laugh. By those who knew him would also describe him as a kind soul with a lot of love to give. Harley had a great love for music, he often spent nights with friends and family creating his own freestyles. He will always be remembered by his great sense of style and it would only be fair to mention the pride he took in his appearance.

Harley is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Emma and Richard Harpster Sr; maternal grandparents, Joyce Smith and Blair Bumbarger; and his sister, Jennifer Chronister.

He is survived by his mother, Nancy Bumbarger; his father, Richard Harpster Jr, his brothers: Richard Harpster III (Brittney), Charles Chronister (Daisy); Brian Chronister (Tiffany); his sisters: Samantha Chronister (Shawn); and Laurie Packer (Nikolas); his 5 nephews: Kayden, Camden, Mason, Greyson, and Jack; his 5 nieces: Talena, Avery, Rayleigh, Kya, and McKenna as well as his 3 children whom he loved very much.

Services will be held privately at the discretion of the family. A celebration of life for friends and family will be held and announced at a later date.
