Passed away peacefully in his sleep on October 1, 2025
Hari Kesh Prashad lived his life with passion, humor, and an unshakable love for both people and animals. Known to everyone simply as Kesh, he brought warmth and laughter into every room he entered. His kindness knew no limits, extending not only to his beloved family and many friends but also to every animal lucky enough to cross his path. Kesh had a deep and lifelong affection for animals — they sensed his gentle soul immediately. His cherished companions, Nookie and Moo, held a very special place in his heart, bringing him endless comfort, loyalty, and joy through the years.
Kesh was a man who truly lived life to the fullest. He found peace and freedom out on the water, with sailing being one of his greatest joys. The sound of the wind in the sails and the rhythm of the waves gave him a sense of calm and contentment that reflected the way he approached life — steady, adventurous, and full of appreciation for every moment. He also enjoyed the simple pleasures of relaxing with his favorite TV shows, from the boundless imagination of Star Trek to the gritty real-life stories of Cops. These little escapes, paired with his wit and easygoing nature, made time spent with him both comforting and memorable.
Above all else, Kesh loved his family. His deep care, his laughter, and his generosity made every gathering brighter. He was the heart of every celebration, always checking in, always ready to help, and always reminding those around him how much they were loved. His friends, too, will remember him as someone who made everyone feel like family — genuine, loyal, and endlessly compassionate.
In honor of Kesh’s lifelong love for animals, the family kindly asks that instead of sending flowers, those wishing to express their condolences consider making a small donation to the SPCA Tampa Bay (EIN: 59-0715928).
