My Dearest Hareg 

Today we celebrated, but there was a space that felt so empty without you. I kept thinking about how much you would have smiled, how you would have hugged ene Misgu , and how your laughter would have filled the room.

We miss you more than words can say. Not having you here for the ene Miku’s birthday reminds us of how much love you brought into our lives. Your kindness, your warmth, and the way you cared so deeply for our family will always be remembered.

Though you’re not with us physically, we carry you in our hearts everyday of our existence. We will continue to remind ene Miku  about your love, your joy, and the beautiful soul you were. You will always be part of our celebrations.

Hareg, I don't know you personally, but grew up in Gonder. I took many pictures in your family photo shop. I am sure I have seen you there or on the street of our small city.  Since, I heard your sudden and terrifying death I could not take you out from my head. I spent Sunday evening sobbing watching your funeral service. How your lived your life is touching and a listen to all of us, as many said "a True Christian". You are in heaven, may God give your family, especially your parents, the strength only that comes from him.  Rest in peace...

Your passing has shaken me to my core, revealing the true fragility and temporary nature of our lives.

I cannot begin to express the depth of affection you extended to me. Hearing now how you were cherished by many only deepens my wonder at where you found the time and energy to give so much to me and everyone else over the years.

I am profoundly blessed and honored to have had you as my friend. Being even a small part of your exemplary and selfless life is my greatest honor. Thank God for making you part of my life.

Thank you for the lessons that made me a better person: you taught me how to prioritize God while simultaneously embracing happiness and fun. You showed me the simplicity of forgiveness, irrespective of the pain inflicted. I know you would insist we must pray even for the individual who cruelly ended your life.

I do not know how we will manage this heartbreak. I promise I will try to internalize all your advice and strive to live my life as you always encouraged. I trust that God called you home, knowing you had "finished the race" and "fought the good fight."

You will forever hold a special place in my heart, Haregye. May you rest in eternal peace, my love. 🙏🏽❤️

I don’t even know where to begin. My heart is broken. It’s just so unbelievably sad that  you  left us so soon 😭😭😭     You were such a beautiful soul—kind, caring, loving—a true woman of God. I still can’t believe you’re gone. Haregeye, I still cannot believe we lost you in such a terrible and sudden way. Whenever I would see you, it would bring a smile to my face because you were an example of everything good in this world. You were kind, loving, caring and always so positive. Even if I didn’t see you for one week, I would miss you until I could see you again. I ask God sometimes why the good people can’t stay with us longer? But just as we love the good, so does Our Lord. He rushes to get the best of the best people by His side. Losing you has taught many people who struggle with selfishness, including myself, a lesson on how to live by your example. You showed us all what it really means to live with God every step of the way. You were the definition of a true Christian. Haregeye, you were a best friend, sister, and companion for so many people. You loved and cared for everyone’s children in addition to your own. Hundreds of people were touched by your love and your kindness. Our whole community is shocked and truly hurt by this loss. Haregeye, please pray for all of us to live our lives according to His will so that we can one day join you in heaven. Pray for your beautiful children who look and act just like you to be comforted by the angels surrounding you. Life without you is hard for us, let alone for your children who adore you and love you. Your children who were your entire existence. Pray for them and for your family to have the strength to continue life without you. I know you are now in the arms of our beloved mother, the Virgin St. Mary. Your smile, your generosity, and your love will never be forgotten. We love you and we will miss you for as long as we live. May your soul rest in eternal peace and happiness. 

It is difficult to put into words what Hargewein meant to me and to everyone who knew her. She was truly like an angel on earth:  kind, gentle, and endlessly giving. She had a way of touching people’s hearts with her smile, her warmth, and her generosity. She never hesitated to help anyone, and she made the world a better place simply by being in it.

I feel blessed and grateful that our paths crossed. The kindness she showed me, the love she shared, and the memories we created will stay in my heart forever. Even though she is no longer with us, her spirit, her goodness, and her beautiful heart will continue to live on in everyone she touched.

May she rest in peace, and may we honor her by carrying her love and kindness forward.

Harege ment everything to me. She is an inspiration to my life, she uplift me and give me wonderful advise full of  wisdom. Her love for her church and her community has enmanse impact. She is always involved how to support our church and bringing great ideas to bring any income for our church. She is also a great listener and a great soul to me. I am feeling the pain losing my sister in Christ. I know it is a loss to everyone that knows her. No words can express the pain, all I can say is may she rest in Heavens. Haregyae you are loved and you will be missed greatly.
