Hardie's obituary

Hardie Ruth Manns, born on June 15, 1955, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on March 24, 2025, in Thompson's Station, Tennessee. Her passing marks the close of a life filled with creativity, care, and quiet strength.

Hardie was the beloved mother of six children: James Manns Jr., Quincy Manns, Courtney Manns, Marco Manns, Sharda Manns, and Michelle Manns. Her legacy continues through an abundance of grandchildren who carry forward the spirit and warmth that Hardie shared so generously.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Emma Cooper.

Hardie found joy and expression through artistic pursuits. Drawing and painting were not just hobbies but meaningful outlets that reflected her inner world. Whether capturing a moment on canvas or simply doodling on a napkin, Hardie's artwork was a testament to her thoughtful nature and creative soul. In addition to her artistic talents, they had a deep love for gardening. Tending to plants and nurturing growth brought her peace and satisfaction—a reflection of the care she extended to those around her.
