I remember Hannah's hardcore commitment to the causes she believed in & the work of Student Leadership & Service @ LC, where she organized and facilitated regular service-learning projects connecting her peers with Portland nonprofits. She was a reliable hard worker. Also totally silly and approachable - a community builder. Working with her was a true gift.

Last year for Hannah's bday we took a 'staycation' at Hotel Teatro. It was calming, relaxing and so much fun. We got to spoil Hannah with her fave breakfast item Eggs Benny and prepped our TSwift codes for the Eras Tour onsale the next day <3

Nothing will beat last year's…
2022, Taylor Swift, USA
Nothing will beat last year's birthday gift for Hannah. We spent 8 hours in the hotel lobby sitting int the Ticketmaster queue to get tickets to NOT ONE but TWO Eras tour stops. It was a little stressful, but I asked for a picture and we wore our merch for good luck :) Yes, we got tickets to both the Seattle & Denver shows <3

2022, High Tea
I know this isn't a photo of Hannah, but this is one she took of me from last year's High Tea annual bday celebration :) Every bday and Hanniversary, we would take ourselves to high tea - usually at the Brown Palace but last year we tried something new (not as good but still fun)- to splurge. It is one of my favorite traditions of ours and wanted to share it with all of you. Hope you sip on some nice Earl Grey tea this day which was her fave to order :) Happy Birthday, Hannah. My heart is broken for all the family and friends of dear sweet Hannah. To have met Hannah is to have loved Hannah. What a sweet genuine loving  kind young women.  I first met Hannah as the most beautiful and happy baby you can imagine. My thoughts are with all of you as we honor Hannah.

My friendship with Hannah began as "desk neighbors".  We'd quickly connected after working on some of the same projects and her graciously driving me to the office when I didn't have a car for a bit. It did not take long for us to realize our shared love for Taylor Swift and camp-y memes. We'd frequently joke that while our day-to-day was statistics, our ~real~ job was educating our coworkers/friends on the happenings of Taylor Swift, the latest TikTok trend, and the lore of horrible but funny memes. Sitting next to her was consistently the highlight of my day. After attending long and boring meetings together, we'd log off zoom just look at each other and burst out laughing.  Working with her was a blessing -- she was so thoughtful and thorough with her support and always so willing to bounce ideas off of each other. I'm convinced I had the best seat in the entire office sitting next to her. From trivia tuesdays, the latest taylor swift conspiracy theories, to commuting to the office or sitting in eras tour traffic together, every moment with her was a blessing.
