For as long as I can remember…
1963, Tennessee, USA
For as long as I can remember, I had this little shadow. We played together, watched TV together, and even attended elementary school together. Eventually, we went off to college and separate lives, but we were still sisters. In our hearts we were alike in so many ways. She was devoted to her family; and performed many acts of kindness for her friends and community - too numerous to mention. So Hannah Banana - thanks for the memories of climbing trees, playing monopoly, weeding the garden, telling ghost stories. Thanks for the laughter and the tears and everything in-between. You have transcended time and space. You are the twinkle in the stars and the wind that rustles the leaves. You are in the arms of Mother and Father, surrounded by love always.

Hannah was one of a kind. I appreciated all she did to make me feel welcomed when I moved to the IR office.  She thought more of others and gave so much of herself. I take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace.
Hannah is a beautiful soul and will be remembered fondly.

When Hannah and I were assistant Girl Scout Leaders in Troop 579 with our daughters Allison and Marguerite,  I saw her peacefully and calmly deal with any and all children and range of situations. She was always amazing, graceful, and beautiful. I loved her way of doing everything with fairness and love towards all.  The children and I loved her greatly. My son Darrell, who was a younger tag-a-long, remembers being welcomed by Hannah with a smile and included by her in all the activities. Her soul was a soft beautiful flower, while her core determination was a solid calm rock.

Rest in Peace My Dear Friend!!!! Big Love!!!!!

I was able to get to know Hannah through courses at Santa Fe College.  She was a highly involved student. She was so positive and very passionate about young children. She always presented engaging activities and gave her all. She was apart of our Education group and her absence was immediately felt.  Her positivity and upbeat energy is missed. I send my sincerest condolences to her family. I hope they know she was special to Santa Fe.
I shared with Hannah in many occasions while working at Santa Fe College including preparing sushi with her friends for over a hundred students and staff as part of the International Students Cultural Events. She was always a happy person and shared her beautiful smile. Hannah, you are now in a better place. I will celebrate your life.

I have had the pleasure of sharing classes with Mrs. Hannah. She met my children a couple of years back and became smitten with them. She was certainly kind and often distracted by the presence of my children  when they attended class 🙂 and her care for them grew from their.  We'd show up to class and she would have something for them. She'd take the time to listen to my son's loooooong stories and take an interest in whatever they wanted to discuss. I am truly grateful to have crossed paths with her and we send our condolences. She lives on through the lives she touched.
I was so sad when I heard the news of Hannah's passing. She was such a happy, pleasant person as we occasionally crossed paths in the office, exchanging greetings. She put me at ease at my first job interview at Santa Fe. Hannah's example encouraged me to enjoy the moment and share a smile. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
I am very sorry for your loss. I am so saddened to hear about Hannah's passing. She was such a sweet and nice person. She would always smile and say hello when I walked into her office area at Santa Fe - she was a ray of sunshine. She will be remembered fondly at the college. The family is in my thoughts and prayers during this sorrowful time.
