OUR BELOVED HANNAH MAE CUPP "BUPP," @ age 17, Of Prescott Valley, AZ, Passed away on March 22, 2020, from exposure to synthetic Fentanyl.
ABC Funeral Services helped us bring Hannah home in a beautifully decorated white pearl Corian URN. Her urn was especially personally made by her cousin, Brian Buckner – it is a one of a kind, stunningly ordained with angel wings as the feet, and (Hannah's Idol), Marilyn Monroe acting as interchangeable handles.
We choose to celebrate Hannah's life with a Lighting of the Lanterns Ceremony & Memorial at Watson Lake, on the water. We will stream this virtually on Saturday, March 20, 2021@6pm. Unbeknownst to her, Hannah was a High School Graduate through a local GED program. Being a fanatic of horror films, she wanted to pursue her dreams as a cinematic cosmetologist. Her thirst for knowledge allowed her to practice this on many of her family & friends, so obviously, her favorite holiday was Halloween. This always brought many of Hannah's diverse group of friends around. She would do this "makeup" on her friends so well that sometimes they would wait up to two days to get in "her chair"! With this passion for makeup, It's seldom, in public, you'll see her without her infamous, dramatic lush lashes that eventually became her trademark.
Hannah was a VERY strong-willed young woman with nearly unreachable goals and ambitions, BUT she NEVER gave up. She started working as a Hostess at Buffalo Wild Wings at the young age of 15. She was also involved in Girls Soft Pitch Softball, being on the team "BatBusters" for many years! One of her favorite sports was "Volleyball.", this allowed her to exhibit her newly found gift of the fierce "Cupp Spike." This time in junior high, she started developing meaningful, lasting relationships WITH EVERYONE IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD!
But Being in a blended family from the age of 2, She unquestionably, cherished her closeness with her family (especially her stepmom/best friend -SOMMER CUPP). Sommers unbiased HONEST opinions and advice she sought out while learning by example to create her own social & coping skills. Using all different aspects of makeup, Hannah just sat and watched, asked questioned & of course, tried it a million times until she got it just right. As expected, through many years of arguments & therapy, Hannah told everyone she knew that she considered Sommer (her step-mother) as one of her parents & best friend. With a half-sister just one year and one day younger than her, Kailee J. Schuessler & Hannah were very close while growing up, especially during their younger years as they leaned on each other during very particular never-ending domestic child custody cases. Randi-Rayne was brought into all of our lives in 2008 and most definitely as a blessing. While they all fought like sisters. God most definitely used all the perfect traits of Hannah & Kailee's innocence and humble personality for Randi, and now we are blessed to have the best of both worlds! Hannah did have a curious, independent streak; this is also where, People will start to notice her kindness and willingness to learn; her beauty, not only inside but out at well, will always leave us remembering her independence, witty sense of humor, and just her excitement when she made others happy & to help even people she did not know.
While the girls were younger, she LOVED to "jam out" with her family while driving. Just like her personality, Hannah enjoyed all types of music. Still, she shared a special connection with her father, Mike, in that they both loved Motley Crue, Metallica, Green Day, Nickelback & Shinedown (This was one of her first concerts she went to with her family). Like most teenagers, she spent many nights as a host to sleepovers while watching reality shows popcorn! She enjoyed catching up on American Horror Story with her sisters late at night after work as they enjoyed buffalo wings all night! Anyone who had the blessing of meeting Hannah would already know that Hannah's personality ALONE could charm an entire room! More importantly, it was the love she had for others, whether it was a relationship of several years or Just someone she met that day; there will never be an honest soul like Hannah Mae!
