Hannah's obituary
We mourn the loss of Hannah Belonga, a devoted sister, daughter, and aunt, who passed away on January 4, 2025. Born on October 15, 2001, Hannah’s gentle spirit and radiant kindness illuminated the lives of many.
She is survived by her beloved brothers, Andrew and James Belonga; her parents Gregory Belonga and Carrie Carpenter; her doting niece, Alaia Belonga, and her thoughtful sister-in-law, Raiven Barba. Hannah was predeceased by her cherished grandmother, Dolores Belonga, whose memories will forever be in Hannah's heart.
Hannah's favorite pastimes painted a picture of a well-lived life. She savored the comfort of mashed potatoes, vibed to the music of Suicideboys, and reveled in the dramatic narratives of 'Bridgerton' and 'Salem'. Her delight for the horror of 'Jeepers Creepers' and the thrill of 'Call of Duty' often kept her entertained. An enthusiast of horror movies, Hannah's sense of excitement was unmatched.
She found joy in fishing, painting, and spending quality time with friends. As a fitness advocate, Hannah enjoyed running and swimming. Her favorite vacation spot was her hometown Muskegon, indulging in the familiar and comforting surroundings. She was passionate about Mental Health Awareness, believing in the power of empathy and understanding.
Blue, a color that represents depth and stability, was Hannah's favorite. It truly reflected her giving and loving personality. She firmly believed in the power of kindness, irrespective of life's turbulent storms. Her legacy is one of kindness and greatness, a testament to the life she led and the hearts she touched.
Funeral services for Hannah will be held on January 18, 2025 at 2:00 PM at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services. As we bid her farewell, we celebrate her life, we cherish her spirit, and we honor her memory. Hannah, you will be missed dearly. We love you.
