We mournfully announce the passing of Hanna Wong (aka Hanna Yoon) in Los Angeles, California on September 2nd, 2023.

Hanna was born in Maryland on December 27, 1988, to parents Chi Kak and Grace Yoon. She was the third child of four daughters. After graduating from Reservoir High School she went on to earn her bachelor's at the University of Maryland. She had the opportunity to work with various companies and lastly worked as a subject matter expert in cyber security in the public sector at Proofpoint. She resided in Maryland most of her life, moved to Virginia for a short period of time, and then enjoyed the rest of her life in California.

Hanna was a brave, compassionate, and honest person. She was a great and loyal friend who always loved with her whole heart. She loved traveling, drinking good wine and whiskey, and eating her mom's home cooking. Her favorite things include eating, Pure Barre, hiking, rewatching her favorite shows, tending to her plants, putting together puzzles, reading books, and enjoying a nice spa day.

Hanna is survived by her loving parents, Chi Kak and Grace Yoon, her sisters and their spouses Jenni and James Kwon, Connie Yoon and Bryan Gough, and Joyce Yoon and several nieces and nephews.
