Haley Nichole Ferguson (1/24/01 - 5/22/23), Knoxville, TN.
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Haley Ferguson, a dearly beloved daughter, granddaughter and friend. Born on January 24, 2001, Haley left our world far too soon on May 22, 2023, leaving a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege to know her.
Haley is survived by her mother Erin Ferguson (Jackie Thomas), sister Chloe Ferguson, Grandmother Paula Hamner (Mario Castells) best friends Madison Nelson, Alora Cantrell (CJ), Tana Smith and Sarah Jerger (Cory), who played a substantial role in her life. Also survived by her father Joseph Ferguson II (Stephanie Burnham), Grandfather Joseph Ferguson, 3 stepbrothers and 1 stepsister, multiple aunts, uncles and cousins.
During her brave battle with cancer, Haley continued to help others who were also facing the difficult journey. Alongside fighting for her own life, she made it her mission to uplift fellow cancer patients, providing support, encouragement, and guidance when they needed it. This selflessness and desire to make a difference was truly one of her most inspiring qualities.
One of Haley's proudest accomplishments was visiting Universal Studios and Disney World during her last days, an experience that brought her tremendous joy. Even in the face of adversity, Haley unwavering concern for others remained at the forefront, teaching us all the true meaning of love and compassion.
A Celebration of Life in honor of Haley's incredible spirit will be held on June 3, 2023, at 2:00 - 8:00 at 6222 Ellesmere Drive Knoxville, TN. Flowers can be sent to the family or you can make a donation to Restore Life USA 311 Cherokee Park Dr., Elizabethton, TN 37643, where Haley was donated to help cancer patients everywhere. Your generous donation will help continue the fight against cancer and carry on Haley's legacy of hope, love, and resilience. Please be sure to mention Haley's name for the donation.
