Haines and Dot opened their wonderful home for Bible Study with Alma Owen leading the study. They both offered a living example of a loving home. That time was a priceless gift to learn more about our Lord.
They shared “ love in action “ in so many countless ways. A special memory is when my husband, Bill and I were getting married at The Little Church on the Lane July 12, 1986. I had planned a courtyard reception. But, the temperature that day was so hot, the cake would have slid off the serving tray. Both Haines and Dot pitched in to move everything indoors. It was a forever blessing!
To be honest, my memories of Haines are so closely tied to Dot. They inspired by example, each in their own way. They loved “ beyond themselves “, and touched so many lives. I once heard a saying “ only God knows how many apples are in one seed”. They both planted a lot of seeds. We blest to have known them!

My sympathy to the Maxwell Family in your loss of Haines Sr. Haines & Dot set the example of a loving husband & wife. Their commitment to Christ was seen in their every action. Their Folly Beach Bible studies were a blessing to all who attended. They are missed.
