Ha was a passionate sports fan. He started playing soccer in his early childhood and later on picked up table tennis, tennis, and golf. He instilled the strong passion for sports in his children. Namca was the champion of the Saskatchewan Province's power-lifting competition in 2019. Nammi has won several junior athletic competitions and is now playing soccer for the University of Ottawa. Namvinh is competing in 2022 National Soccer Championships U15 Cup.
