Gwendolyn Williams, 70, of Myrtle Beach, SC, passed away on July 26, 2022.

Gwendolyn was born on May 5, 1952 to Lakeisha and Tony Williams in Conway, SC. After graduating from Conway High School in 1970, she went on to study Real Estate at Coastal Carolina University.

After graduation, she landed her first job as a Realtor for BRG Real Estate - Beach Realty Group for 29 years.

In 1978, she met Darrell Jones, and they wed in 1979, going on to have 4 children in total. Gwendolyn excelled at motherhood and supporting her children through the many passions and difficulties of their lives. She made it her life's mission to improve the lives of others.

Gwendolyn was a passionate gardener and when she wasn’t filling her home with warmth and kindness, she could be found in her garden soaking up the sun. We will miss her greatly.

Gwendolyn was predeceased by her husband Darrell Jones. She is survived by all 4 of her children.

The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to Ocean View Funeral Home and Beach Crematory. There will be a celebration of life on August 3, 2022. Services will begin promptly at 10:00 AM and will be held at Ocean View Funeral Home and Beach Crematory located at 1212 Carver St, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577. Burial services will follow beginning at 2:00 PM at Ocean Woods Memorial Cemetery located at 2408 S Kings Hwy, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.
