It was a rude shock when I heard the news of her passing.  Gwen, a loving and caring person.  All her characters and relationship with any contact was godly. She was a woman  of faith.  However,  death is a debt we all owe to pay. May her soul rest in perfect peace. My sincere condolences to entire family.  May the  Lord uphold you all.

She fought a good fight,  finished the course and kept the  faith.  2 Timothy 4 vs 7

Gwen and I worked together for years. We were not only coworkers , we were friends. She always had such a calming effect on me, and many times prayed for me when she knew I was having a tough day.

I’m so happy I was able to talk to her on her Birthday. 

 God certainly gained a beautiful Angel. I feel so blessed to have known her. 

My deepest sympathy to her family. 💔

I'm at a loss for words. I'm so thankful I got to reconnect with Gwen, my godmother. Though a long gap in communication, she welcomed me with so much love. I'm so grateful for the blessing of knowing. 

To the Shokunbi family, I'm praying strength and comfort as you travel this journey. In all you do continue to cherish the wonderful memories. God strengthen you and keep you along the way.

The 1st picture is from our wedding, giving a speech that we tried to tell her we didn't have time for! But we made time and when she spoke, we listened. She blessed our union and made it known that Halid was GOOD MAN! He was then and still is, because of the values she instilled in him and all of her children. She was an amazing mom, grandmother, wife, sister, friend, an amazing everything! I am truly honored to be apart of her legacy. I am truly blessed to have been loved by her.

I know she's dancing on the beaches in heaven, listening to good music. 

 She will missed but absolutely never forgotten. 

Halid and family I’m sending my love during this very hard transition and time. May the legacy of your mom continue to be carried out and through the way in which you continue to show up in the world.
