Gwyneth Birthelmer, age 55, passed away Tuesday August 31st t her residence in Duluth. She worked as an insurance analyst for Anthem for 10 plus years. She was preceded in death by her parents Eugene and Cynthia Jackels, and her brother Kirk Jackles. Survivors include her daughter Annie Birthelmer of Latonia, brother Matthew Jackels of Waconia MN, sister Nancy Wrede of Lexington, brother Jeff Jackels of Hamilton OH, step-father Phil Muller of North Branch MN, step-mother Karen Cordova of Albuquerque NM and partner in life Bradley Smith. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, close friends and many family members. Memorial visitation will be held September 3rd from 1pm to 3pm with a memorial service to follow at Doughtery Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
