Gustave's obituary
Gustave Albert Husenitza III, a man known by many, passed away on September 8, 2023, leaving a legacy filled with laughter, dedication, and caring behind. Born on January 18, 1943, he lived a life that was equal parts joyful and inspiring. A man who believed in the power of hard work, Gustave was a beacon of perseverance and commitment to all he knew.
Gustave was known by his loved ones for his humor, ability to fill a room with laughter and create a warm atmosphere. His dedication to his work was something he was immensely proud of, and he never failed to instill the same values in those around him. A firm believer in hard work, he made it a point to encourage others to adopt the same approach.
Gustave was proud to have served in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1961-1965 out of Sandy Hook, NJ. He loved spending time on the ocean water and boating. Al enjoyed flying planes and traveling to other countries with his beloved wife Audrey.
Survived by his cherished wife Audrey Husenitza, Gustave was there to support her for the 61 years of marriage they had together. He is also survived by his four children, Gustave Albert Husenitza IV, Phillip Husenitza, Kim Husenitza, and Douglas Husenitza. Gustave was also a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. His dedication to them was evident in his hard work.
While we mourn the loss of this remarkable man, we also celebrate the life he led. Gustave Albert Husenitza III, with his humor, his dedication, his love for his family, and his belief in hard work, leaves behind a legacy that will continue to inspire generation after generation. He will be remembered with love, respect, and a smile on our faces. His lessons will live on in us, and his memory will forever remain in our hearts.
