Greta Jean Donelow Roncaglione, age 84 of Gretna died February 17, 2021 at home with her family in Gretna, Virginia.

Born April 3, 1936 in Corinne, West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Oscar Eugene Donelow and Fannie Loretta Stone Donelow. She was predeceased by her husband, Daniel Martin Roncaglione, a son, Timothy Lee Roncaglione, a sister, Arlene Hunt, and a daughter-in-law, Sue Roncaglione.

Greta was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of the Gretna Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She enjoyed sharing good news from the Bible and the wonderful hope she and her family had in seeing all the promises God has in store for mankind being fulfilled. Greta enjoyed traveling and gardening with her beloved Danny and cooking for her family. She was a fiercely loyal protector of her family whom she loved with all her heart.

She is survived by three sons, Daniel E. Roncaglione (Dee) of Hurt, Virginia, Thomas Roncaglione (Erica) of Gretna, and Ted Roncaglione (Tamara) of Durham, NC; one sister, Dixie Harkey of Charlotte, North Carolina; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted via Zoom on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 2:00 p.m.
