I was so sad to hear of Mrs. Frederick’s passing. She was a wonderful teacher and always treated her students with kindness and patience.
I loved being in her art class. She was so welcoming and her classroom was a peaceful change of pace from the rest of the school day.
She will be greatly missed. My greatest sympathies and prayers for your family.
She was my favorite teacher in high school. During my troubled teens, she saw my potential as an artist. I graduated in 1988 and after a military career, went to college and got my bachelor's in art and photography. My thoughts and prayers go out to your family.

The best mother-in-law you could ever hope for. We had the best conversations just sitting around the kitchen table. Until we meet again Greta Lou!

Mrs. Fredrick was my kindergarten teacher at Savanna. Later on she became my high school art teacher.
When I was in kindergarten she gave me my first and only school swat. It was warranted but it only took one and I never misbehaved in school again. LOL.

I had the pleasure of running into her A couple of years ago and Walmart and McAlester, Oklahoma. I hadn’t seen her since I graduated high school. When I thought I recognized her I asked her if her name was Miss Daley and she just commented no it’s Mrs. Frederick. I knew her name was Mrs. Frederick but she had such an impact on my kindergarten years that that’s the name I remembered at that time. When I start Talking she knew exactly who I was. We talked about the time I had my hood of my coat over my eyes and got out of line and she swatted me. She remembered that!!!

She was an amazing teacher and she will be missed by many.
I can’t express how sorry I am to hear of her passing. I was always in awe of her—she possessed an ethereal quality that was most special. She instilled in me a love for the arts that has shaped my life in a profound way. The world was made better by having her in it.

She was my art teacher. I wasn’t a art person but she talked me into trying anyway. She was a very talented teacher. Very patient with a lot of us students. You was blessed to have know her. So sorry for your loss. Prayers for family.

Mrs. Frederick was the Art teacher at Savanna High School where I attended. She was also our class sponsor! She was always positive and had a smile on her face while keeping that calm and cool temperament! She was a great lady and I am forever grateful to all the teachers who were positive examples in my life.
